There's a moment every parent knows well. The second a toddler discovers a pen. It's exciting, it's messy, and it usually ends with a "creative masterpiece" somewhere it really shouldn't be, looking at you, kitchen wall. That's exactly the problem we set out to solve with our brand-new fabric colouring books, and we couldn't be more excited to finally share them with you.
Say hello to our first ever colour-in books made specifically for the littlest doodlers in your life, toddlers aged 1 year and up.

Introducing Our First Ever Toddler Colouring Books
Until now, our colour-in-wash-repeat range has covered pencil cases, placemats, backpacks, pyjamas and more for kids aged 3+. This changes today.
Our new fabric colouring books are designed with toddlers in mind. They have soft, sturdy pages, big friendly illustrations, and nothing that can rip, tear or turn to papery mush the second it meets an over-enthusiastic scribble. They're the perfect first colouring experience for little ones who are just discovering what pens can do.

There are two designs to choose from:
-
Farmyard Colouring Book, with cows, sheep, tractors and cheerful farmyard friends for little ones who love animals and muddy wellies.
-
Under the Sea Colouring Book, with fish, octopuses, turtles and coral reefs for budding ocean explorers.
Both are priced at £14.95 and include everything your toddler needs to get started straight out of the box.
Why Fabric, Not Paper?
Paper colouring books are brilliant, but they're not exactly built for toddler hands. Pages tear. Pens bleed through onto the table. And once it's coloured in, that's it, the fun is over until you buy another book.
Our fabric colouring books solve all three problems at once.
They're made from 100% cotton. No flimsy paper pages here. Every page is a proper piece of fabric, soft enough for tiny hands to hold and turn, and far more durable than paper when little fingers get a bit too enthusiastic.

They're colour-in, wash out, and colour in again. This is the bit parents love most. Once a page is filled in, scribbled over, or coloured entirely in one colour because that's just how they’re rolling that day, simply pop the book in the washing machine at 30°C and the ink disappears completely. The pages come out blank and ready to colour all over again. One book really can provide months (or years) of creative play.
No mess, no stress. Because everything is washable, you don't need to worry about ink ending up on hands, clothes, sofas or walls in the same way you might with regular felt tips. If it does stray outside the lines, it washes out along with everything else.
What's Included
Every fabric colouring book comes complete with:
-
A durable, soft 100% cotton colour-in book
-
A pack of 5 chunky, easy-grip wash-out pens, designed specifically for tiny toddler hands to hold comfortably
There's no need to buy separate pens or worry about compatibility. Everything your toddler needs is included in the box, ready to use straight away.
Designed With Toddler Hands (and Behaviour) in Mind
Anyone who's handed a standard felt tip to a one-year-old knows the grip is all wrong. Thin barrels are hard to hold, and the pressure needed to make a mark can be tricky for developing hand muscles. That's why the pens included with our new books are chunky and easy-grip, sized and shaped for smaller hands that are still building up fine motor control.
We know that at this age, most new toys and tools get a thorough taste test at some point, so the ink in our pens is non-toxic. It's gentle on skin and, if an inquisitive toddler decides to give a pen a chew or a lick, there's no need to panic. It's all part of designing products with real toddler behaviour in mind, not just toddler hands.

The illustrations themselves have been designed with this age group specifically in mind, too. Bold, simple shapes and larger colouring areas make it easier for toddlers to stay, roughly, within the lines, building confidence with every page, while still leaving plenty of room for imaginative, all-over-the-place colouring too. Let's be honest, that's half the fun at this age.
Although designed for age 1+, there's no upper age limit. Older siblings, big cousins, or even grown-ups looking for a relaxing, screen-free activity are more than welcome to join in too.
A Screen-Free First Step Into Creativity
For many toddlers, a colouring book like this is one of the very first proper creative activities they'll try. It's a wonderful way to encourage:

-
Early fine motor skills. Gripping a chunky pen and making marks helps build the hand strength and coordination toddlers will later use for writing.
-
Colour and shape recognition. Spotting a cow, a fish, or a tractor and choosing which colour to make it.
-
Focus and concentration. Even a few minutes of quiet colouring can be a lovely, calming activity in a busy day.
-
Screen-free playtime. A genuinely engaging alternative to handing over a tablet, whether that's at home, at a café, or strapped into a car seat on a long journey.
And because the book washes clean and starts again, it grows with your toddler rather than being wasted after one use, from their very first scribbles right through to more confident colouring as they approach their next birthday and beyond.
Perfect For On-The-Go Days Out
Fabric doesn't just mean durable, it means portable, too. Our colouring books slip easily into a changing bag or backpack for days out, visits to grandparents, restaurant trips, or long car and train journeys. There's no worrying about crumpled paper pages or ripped colouring pages fluttering out of a bag. Just pop the book and pens in, and you're ready for quiet time wherever you are.
