top wildlife inspired designs

Spring has well and truly arrived across the northern hemisphere, bringing with it changeable weather, blooming flowers, and wildlife from their slumber. Celebrating and protecting nature is a core value of eatsleepdoodle’s sustainable mission to create children’s gifts that they want to use and will last the test of time.

With this in mind, we have gathered our favourite nature-inspired reusable colour in products to shout about. From the forest to your back garden, we have something for every wildlife enthusiast.

Whimsical Woodland

Explore the native British wildlife residing in our woodland with everything from foxes and deer to squirrels and frogs, who can all be found on our colour in woodland collection. Available as a placemat to go and more recently in pencil case form, your little ones can bring their forest friends along on family walks and colour in who they see along the way.

The woodland placemat to go is perfect for pub lunches and hot chocolate breaks between wildlife spotting. Unfold and colour whilst you wait for your mid-walk treats, then fold back up in the included cotton carry bag when it’s time to go, along with the magic wash out pens. The kiddos can even carry it themselves!

Prefer something a little more compact? Our woodland pencil case perfectly fits the included wash out pens inside and features the same forest friends that can be found on our placemat. Ideal for car, train and plane journeys, the pencil case can be grabbed on the way out the door and used almost anywhere!

Colour and learn together

This time of year starts to bring out the many curiosities that can be found in and around our local ponds. Whether you’re lucky enough to have your own pond or access to one in your local community, Springtime provides ever-changing ecosystems you can observe as a family throughout the season.

Our nature & wildlife tablecloth features a host of creatures that can be found living in and around fresh water. From newts and frogs to kingfishers and herons, colour the animals, bugs and plants you’ve spied at your local watering hole.

Shining Sunflowers

Colour, grow, wash, repeat…whilst helping to fund blood cancer research, all with one pencil case. In early 2025, we teamed up with Beth’s Sunflowers to create the colour in & grow sunflower pencil case. This double-sided masterpiece features a garden brimming with sunflowers on one side and the life cycle of sunflowers on the other. The kiddos can grow their very own sunflowers whilst learning about the process through creativity all at the same time.

Beth’s Sunflowers was setup in 2023 by Andrea Childs in memory of her daughter Beth, who sadly lost her battle with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukaemia in 2018. Every sunflower pencil case comes with a pack of sunflower seeds from Andrea, a £5 donation to Beth’s Sunflowers and, of course, 10 magic wash out pens.
